Reponse to Haraway's piece
I defined Haraway's passage as the following: Writing was, is, and always will be the soul cyborg technology (i am referring to the writing in cyberspace). Due to the rise of technology, people are able to communicate without actually communicating. Haraway's piece enabled me to learn how cyborg manifestation relates to (Rhetoric). Writing enables people to express their emotions and their thoughts; according to Haraway, this is considered to be unnatural. People fall into the trap of writing, and unknowingly they become cyborgs; writing uses technology and anything associated with technology is cyborg. Literacy has a lot to do with being cyborg as well; how does one become literate? Through schooling, schooling puts great importance on technology (researching, typing papers on the computer, listening to audio tapes for class, and much more).
