Was a real crime committed in a virtual world?
I would have to say, yes, a real crime was committed in the virtual world. Hey, after all the virtual world is recognized by many to be a mere representation of the real world; the virtual world mimics the real world, whatever happens in the real world goes,so whatever happens in the virtual world should also go. Yes, a crime can surely be committed in the real world. The virtual world consists of real people, real ideas, real views, and real perspectives; many people also view the virtual world as one that consists of laws, rights, and privileges....if people can manage to make all of this seem "real" then why make a crime look unreal??? Possibly, because people do not want to take responsibility.....individuals who are crazy about the "cyborg world/virtual world" spend so much time on trying to get others to people that the virtual world is real, its so cool and different, and IT EXISTS; yet, when something bad or unfortunate takes place no one wants to take responsibility, and want to get off by saying, "well, that is not possible it just can't be real."
